The Lion King

WAS AMAZING!!!
I just can't believe how incredible it was. I mean I like Disney cartoon movies and all but I was absolutely blown away by how well it was put together and how creative it was!Damian, mom, Katie and I had an elegant dinner at McDonalds in Dewitt then it was off to the Wharton Center for the Lion King. I didn't think that we were even allowed cameras in the theatre so I had Katie take a picture of me and Damian by my car in the parking garage. :)
I think that Damian really liked it, I got him a Lion King t-shirt and a Simba stuffed animal. He liked his Simba.
Damian said that he couldn't see so I had him sit on my lap for the first act then after the break he sat on moms lap. I thought the first act was much more active than the first act but it doesn't really matter-the whole thing was great. My favorite part was the beginning for sure! We were two seats away from the side and the animals walked RIGHT next to us, we were on the side with the Elephant-way cool.
If it comes next year I am definitly going more than once!

Easter fun and Damian is 6!!!

Myself, Damian and Brendan

Damian opening the Batman Wings

Cayden thought they were pretty cool!

Watch out Cayden is WOLVERINE!!!

Damian as BATMAN!

MyKenna didn't feel well at all, but I still got her to giggle and smile a little bit!

This past weekend was Easter. I went to Chris's to celebrate, but had to end that as soon as I was done eating because it was also my Godson's brithday! So, sorry Leipprandt's for cutting out on you so soon! Everything was delicious and I wish I could have stayed longer-next time I suppose! and Thank you Sherry and Phil for the Easter basket! :)
I got Damian tickets to see the Lion King on Thursday and also some Batman wings-these things are cool! It goes on like a backpack, and it came with a mask! But once its on you pull one cord and BAM! the wings go out. Then there are two other cords that you pull to make the wings go back in. Very cool! Damian was jumping from the stairs and pulling the cord at the same time! Pretty neat.
Another lovely weekend putting things up around Chris's house too. I asked Chris to hang up some candle holders in the hallway-the one we never got painted this year; next year maybe! and a shelf in the newly done princess room. Its coming along nicely. I wanted to paint the master bathroom and bedroom, maybe I'll get that done this spring yet, but who knows we have to plant flowers and put the outside garden pond in! I know he's reading this and thinking WOW what a list! :) Love you hunnie!
I almost forgot! On Saturday the 11th, Miss Lauren and Raina Sue turned 1 year old!! Oy my goodness time flies, they are getting so big! The other day Lauren said 'Hi Baby' plane as day! So cute!!!!!
Anywho I will let everyone know how Lion King turned out, I don't think I will be disappointed!

Finding time...

My, my, my it goes fast doesn't it? Busy people, but anywho lets back up to the last weekend in March. Jenny, Dewey, Chris and I headed out to East Lansing to Harpers bar. There we met up with loads of people to watch the Spartans in the sweet 16. Good times after the game we went to the Landshark.
Saturday Chris and I bartended (poured beer) for my Tia Monica and Uncle Scott's Biker party OMG good time, no pictures b/c I hear that the last posting of photos I did were too racey so you sure don't want to see the ones from the 'Pigfest 2009' !!!! So we did that from 11:30 until like 6:30. It was sooooooo much fun holy crap! I had a great time can't wait to go next year! After that Dewey was having her 21st birthday party at the house, not a bad time either! Well on Sunday I woke up-still drunk and with NO VOICE! However I did make it to Chuck E Cheeses for Cayden's "Potty Party". Not a bad time when your hungover/drunk...I guess! :) After that Jenny, Dewey, Chris and I went to Reno's west to watch the Spartans play in the Elite 8! Great game sucks when you can't cheer them on b/c you lost your voice but still good time.

Well Monday rolled around and I still didn't have a voice! So Monica was kind enough to 'sub' in my spot for the afternoon while I took her spot in the files-thanks Monica!
As for this most recent weekend, Chris, Dewey, Jenny and I(are you seeing a pattern?) Went back to East Lansing and watched the Spartans play in the Final four at Dublin Square. What a good time that was, got really fuzzy out that afternoon though! monday we wathed the Championship at the Hall of Fame cafe with my parents and Chris's parents and some other folks, they lost-it sucked- I caught Chris's cold and we all move on!
Oh and I had a purse party last night-OMG what a fun time! I am having one in the fall so ask me about it when the time comes!
So thats all there is I have just a few pics for you this time. Enjoy!
