We have CARPET!!!

This past Tuesday the carpet men came and put carpeting in the downstairs bedroom, upstairs bedroom, stairway and living room.

And now with the carpeting and everything back in it!! We absolutely LOVE it!!!!

Above: Our dining room was FULL of this from the downstairs bedroom and living room things.
I do have to say, the past 6 months we have moved nearly everything in this house at least 4 times!!!!

Below: This is everything from the upstairs bedroom moved into our bedroom-it was crowded for 2 nights until we got it all moved back in.

Our basement with the old carpet from the upstairs bedroom-Finally the basement is ready! The basement was the first room we did and then we worked our way up!

And Lastly...here is the stairway. I ran up and down it so many times already and have not fallen once!!!!! I do haev to say it also makes our house so quiet!!!!! 

Well we absolutely LOVE what he have done with the house, I am going to get all of my picutres developed and start a scrap book of our house. Since its finally nice out-and staying nice our next goal is to take it outside and freshen up the yard!!!

Kitchen... and We're DONE!!!

It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be to paint the kitchen, the appliances were easy enough to move and we did little sections at a time so it went pretty well!!! We thought we might need an accent wall but with the round table in that corner we thought it was okay-at least for now ;)
I took the left over paint from the kitchen walls and painted our little entry way at the front of the house so every room in our house has been updated-except for the downstairs bathroom-but I told Chris that the ONLY way we would be touching that room is if/when we do a major renovation to the kitchen/backroom/garage/and bathroom!!! But for now we will leave that room as it is-a blast from the past and rest of the house is nicely updated!
Tomorrow we have the carpet people coming to put carpeting in the upstairs guest bedroom, the stairway, the downstairs guest bedroom and the living room. I spent some time this morning moving those particular rooms out and into other rooms that aren't getting carpeting. pictures to follow on that so stay tuned!
I can't wait to have the inside of our house completed!!! It only took us 6 months (Happy 6th month anniversary to Chris and I-May 12th) :) As soon as the carpet is in and everything is put back in place I will start my work outside. Our fence needs to be painted again! And I have loads of lanscaping to do!!!

The Living Room and Dining Room!!!

 

Yay!!! Nearly done now! I have the paint bought for the kitchen-wish me luck on this one!!! I actually did the dining room all by myself-except for the light fixture-Chris had to be the handy man for that :) But I love that the Dining Room and the Living Room are now two sepereate rooms and I LOVE the color of the dining room-the color of that will actually carry into the kitchen-just a little hint for the kitchen!!!

Renovations Continued with the Hallway/Stairway

 The house is nearly done with a COMPLETE face lift! And Chris and I have done it all on our own!!! This is the hallway/stairway-this was by far the HARDEST area in the entire house to paint! Seriously! It was awful-we had no idea how tall the stairway was :) So here are before and After pictures of it. The original color was a lighter shade of green-I stuck with the green but went a touch darker with more of a brown hue to it.
