Ice Luges and bubbles!

Timmy taking a shot from the ice luge

Bartender Timmy!!!
Lets play a bit of catch up here and incorporate a couple weekends together.

Two weekends ago Chris and I had an open house in Caseville, Nick Steinman graduated and he had a Luau theme. Timmy Simecki, good friend of Chris's, made ice luges-if thats even how you spell it! but they were a big hit at the party!
Chris bought a camper for $400.00 and bewtween him and Brian Simecki they have transformed it into a nice little place to stay! Chris said I have to make curtains for it, so I will let you all have a look at it once i put the curtains in it-of course! Anywho, he pulled it unto the Simecki' s lawn-thank you Brian and Margaret for letting us white trash people stay there.
Go to Thursday night, Tia Monica wanted to do something for us Lewis women so we went to a Lugnuts baseball game on Thirsty Thursday. Here are some pictures of that night:

Go Nuts!

Smile Everyone!

Amanda and Dewey
Now jump ahead to last weekend, my cousin Neal Spitzley got married to Amber Feldpausch; congratulations to you two! They had a very nice wedding and the weather started to cool off so that was a real treat. They passed out bubbles for after the wedding to blow, but I couldn't wso here are some pictures of Raina and Lauren playing in the bubbles...what a fun life that would be!

Whatever, turn your heads sideways for these!

Sunday Chris, Katie, Jenny, Chris , Alex(Chris's cousin) and I went to Grand Haven for the day to finally enjoy the out doors, I just haven't really had the time nor the weather to really lay out so I did it yesterday and really I didn't get too burnt!
And before I forget...the Suburban FINALLY rolled 200,000! Yup it rolled over on the way to the wedding!

Westphalia's Car Show

Damian in the jump king
Bounce! Bounce!

Poor Cayden had a little trouble staying on his feet

I finally got him to look at me

Damian enjoying his ice cream

I am behind a bit here, but I will catch up when I can! Its just been WARM, too warm to go into our den and on the computer-but I found time tonight :)
So a couple of weeks ago Westphalia had their classic car show I am not sure which year this is for them but I heard that there was an impressive 471 cars total in the tiny town of Westphalia! The family met up with Jenny and chad Goodwin and their daughter Grace. Then we found Ryan, Damian and Cayden. Aunt Sue, Amanda, Delbert, Diana, Louie and Elizabeth were there too. Grandpa Mark bought the boys some ice cream and under the 4 corners we stood. It was warm out, Cayden's ice cream cone was Superman and dripping fast. needless to say nobody else likes superman so I got to eat roughly 1/2 to 3/4 of the ice cream. And let me tell you: Superman ice cream and Bud light not a tasty combo!!!
All in all a good time spent with my family, Ryan and my nephews.

Updates on the yard

Pictures of the little 'house' aka the shed BEFORE... Pictures of the little 'house' aka the shed AFTER...

Isn't it just lovely!?!

My mom came up to Chris's with me this weekend. I had a baby shower for Nicole, Chris's cousin, so while Sherry and I were there, Mom was farming with cousin Nick, Chris and even Phil! She rode in the tractor with Nick for a couple rounds of chopping hay then with Chris in his Semi for some shipments of hay, I joined Chris so mom then rode with Phil and finished up the field with him in his semi. We went out to dinner after that with Phil and Sherry which was fun!
Sunday we got up and started to kick it in the back yard, we did some damage I think. Chris really wants to have a big BBQ party this summer so we are really working on its presentation!

By God, little by little it will be in tip top shape! Mom is going to Shipshewanna next week and I have to get a list together for her to search for some things for the back yard.

Like Mother Like Daughter?

So, for any of you that know my lovely mom, Sheryl; you know that she has done the landscaping around our house-which is beautiful. Well to get it the way she has it. She tore up grass and in place is mulch and plants.
WELL...that is what Chris and I did at his house. I have to say it... I love Mulch!
Before... After!

Beautiful pictures of the fence around the house, I am slowly but surely digging up grass underneath each section of fence and replacing the grass with 2 hosta's and 2 day lillies. I have a ways to go yet, but making progress!
Along side the garage, we widened out and have gladioles and hostas and other stuff that is taking its time to grow.
Around the other side of the deck we finished the corner section and planted our garden.
I have plenty of other things to do around the house-but all in good time. I did take some before photos of the things that I have on my list so I will keep everyone updated-because I know you are so curious!
Now if only the weather would turn around and act like spring/nearly summer. It would be perfect!

I just LOVE family!

I know that my blogs are a bit out of order but oh well, here are some pictures from my cousin Jessies open house. You can check out the quilt I made for her on my other blog: http://www.kraftykimmy.blogspot.com/

I think its pretty neat! :)
It was really nice to get together with teh fam, we had a good time- I myself probably had too good of a time, I had to stay at the 'Gypsie Inn' or as I like to call it the 'Hotel California'! No, I stayed with my cousins Eric and Erin in my Tia and Uncle's camper-nice deal!

We ate We drank We Kareoke'd-right Uncle stu???? But man was it freakin FUN!!!

My Toots is playing ball!!!

Today was Damian's first t-ball game. Last week they had a rain out, but today was nice and sunny. Damian is on the light blue team. It was really cute to watch the little kids play. They get 5 balls pitched at them and if the kids don't hit the ball then the 'T' comes out. I was pleasantly surprised that both teams did some excellent hitting!
Damian, although he writes Left handed, he is definitly a Right handed ball player! He started at first then played left field, he was very pumped after the game adn its just amazing to see him grow up, its going too fast! -tear-
